Fellowships and Other Awards For AMCB Graduate Students

Fellowships for graduate students entering the AMCB are available from several sources.

Students applying to the AMCB are eligible to compete for University of Florida fellowships through the UF-sponsored Graduate Fellowship Program. Depending on the year, one or more award is made through the AMCB. In addition to this institutional support, various assistantships are available periodically through grants to individual faculty members of the AMCB.

The George K. and Ruthanna Davis awards are available on a competitive basis for graduate students studying nutrition, either animal or human. They represent a salary supplement of $5000/year for up to 4 years (PhD) or 2 years (MS).

For more information, it is best to contact individual faculty members of the AMCB.  Alternatively, contact the Assistant Graduate Coordinator, Joann Fischer.

For information and forms on admission into the University of Florida Graduate School, visit the University of Florida Admissions Office or the Department of Animal Sciences or contact Joann Fischer if you wish to receive the forms by mail.
