Thursday,
January 25th
Registration and Check-In
- casual, travel clothing
Evening Opening Session
- casual but professional (nice jeans or slacks, sweaters,
button-up shirts, etc.)
Friday, January 26th
Tour Day - Long pants and closed-toe shoes are advised
on all tours. Dress professional, but appropriate for your
tour. Remember that you want to make a good impression. Most
tours will be outside so consider the weather and conditions
you will be walking through. Florida is known for its warm,
tropical weather, but January is generally the coolest month
of the year with temperatures averaging Low 50E-High 70E so
plan to dress for your comfort level!
Saturday, January 27th
The whole day will be professional so
please dress business casual.
Gentlemen
- Dress slacks (NO jeans), dress shirt or sweater, and nice
shoes.
Ladies
- Skirt or slacks (NO jeans), sweater or nice shirt, and
appropriate shoes.
You will be attending a banquet
Saturday evening. Dress should be business professional.
Gentlemen
- Coat and tie, dress slacks (NO jeans), dress shirt, and nice
shoes.
Ladies
- Evening dress or skirt/slacks and jacket (NO jeans), dress
shirt or blouse, and dress shoes.
Code of Conduct
As a professional attending the National Block and Bridle
Convention, each member must recognize and take the
responsibility that he or she must conduct himself or herself in
a professional and responsible manner at all times. In doing so
each member will follow the dress code, show up on time to all
events, remain at a reasonable noise level when visiting with
other members, and have the utmost respect for the hotel and the
Convention Administrators at all times. NO cell phones or
pagers are to be on or in use during
any of the conference functions. Each member must realize that
it is truly in his or her best interest to present himself or
herself in a positive manner as he or she represents not only
his or her own college but National Block and Bridle as well as
the chapter hosting the event.
