Scope &
Objectives:
1] To
familiarize students with the general aspects of reproductive
2] Identify & discuss the
interrelationships between the hormones produced by the reproductive glands &
their target organs of the male & female.
3] Describe similarities & differences
in reproductive functions between domesticated animals that include the bovine,
ovine, porcine, equine & avian species.
4] Discuss sound
reproductive management programs that will maximize breeding efficiency of
domesticated animals.
