The Florida State Fair and UF Extension are hosting a youth Swine Showmanship Clinic on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Lykes indoor arena. The clinic will be from 10 am until 3 pm, with lunch provided for youth and their parents. Cost for the clinic is $20 per youth. There is no additional cost for the parents' lunches; just indicate on the entry form how many lunches are needed.

FFA and 4-H youth of any age (8-18) are welcome to attend and there is no limit to the number of participants from each county or school. However, entries will close if/when there are 200 registrants.

Pre-registrations forms with payment are due by November 13. Please note on the entry form that checks should be made out to "University of Florida" and returned to Rebecca Matta at the UF Department of Animal Sciences. Questions about the event can be directed to Dr. Chad Carr.
